The new Kairiki 8 Shimano is the new version of the first Kairiki, still made in Japan, but also with a braiding technology called "VT Construction Method". This PE braid is very durable and smooth for longer casting distances. It is available from 0.05mm to 0.43mm diameter, with a maximum strength of 47kg for the latter. It is ideal for all throwing peaches, freshwater and sea, as it is very sensitive, smooth and quiet. In addition, in addition to the colours Green (Mantis Green) and Steel Grey, it is now available in yellow (very visible) and multicoloured (for deep peaches). The Kairiki 8 is finally a great braid for jigging because it enjoys low water resistance and less than 3% elasticity.
